New revision of the User Guide is now published

The user manual for microdata.no has now been updated and describes all new functionality that has been implemented since April 2022.

New things documented in the User Guide:

  • New reshape commands (converts datasets between wide and long format)
  • Oaxaca regression
  • Functionality for automatic recoding of variable values ​​when uploading delimited files
  • Several alternative ways to measure marginal effects for logistical regressions
  • The recode command can now also be applied to alphanumerical variables, and can create value labels in the same operation
  • “Black mode” – black user interface
  • New command: edit – alternative way to edit in scripts
